GS= General Science
GK= General knowledge
GA= General Awareness
An exam syllabus may have GK or GA. There is a great difference between these two terms.
- General Science
General science comprises Biology, Physics, and chemistry. And maybe history and geography.
- General Awareness
General awareness means the incidents that are related to science, invention, politics, sports, the internet, networking, environment, awards, recognitions, positions, films, arts, and whatever happens in this world. Which clearly shows that general awareness has no fixed boundary. General awareness is the trickiest and luckiest part to score.
Since there is no perfect syllabus for General awareness, it is better to learn from the yearbooks of the present and previous years. I found the General awareness capsule by Disha Experts very helpful myself.
You can buy it from your local store or through Amazon or Flipkart.
- General knowledge
General knowledge will have both general awareness and general science.
In short if in a syllabus they are pointing to general knowledge that means it has both general science and general awareness.
